DESCRIPTION:http://aust-thai.org.au/event-3096463\n\n\n\n  \nNotice of ATBC 2018 AGM - 4:30pm - 6:30pm\, \n  \nThursday 1st November 2018.\n  \n\n  To all financial members of the ATBC\n \n Attached please find the formal notice of the 2018 AGM\, to be held at 4:30pm on Thursday 1st November 2018 at the offices of our member\, Kingsgate Consolidated\, Level 21\, 20 Bond Street\, Sydney\, NSW 2000.\n \n Members can attend in person\, or by teleconference.\n \n Please contact the Council at info@aust-thai.org.au if you would like details of the conference call arrangements.\n  \n\n  In addition to considering the items as per the Agenda attached\, this meeting provides members with an opportunity to discuss possible events and activities for the year ahead.\n  \n\n  Any member wishing to nominate for an Executive position on the Board of the Council is most welcome to advise their nomination to the Secretary at admin@aust-thai.org.au.\n  \n\n  We welcome your participation\, and it's been a big year already.\n   \n  The ATBC has been very active and highlights of the year to date that will be discussed at the AGM include:\n      * Renewed business interest from Australian SME's looking to start up in Thailand (average 1-2 requests for assistance per week)\;\n\n        * Participation in the inaugural ASEAN Business Councils Event in July\; \n\n        * High level engagement with the Thai Government\, including the Thai Ambassador to Australia\, senior officials from the Ministry of Commerce\, Deputy Government Ministers\, the Royal Thai Consulate\, Austrade\, DFAT and business leaders\; and\n\n        * Attendance at industry events/conferences aimed at promoting bilateral trade between Australia and Thailand.\n\n  If you are unable to make it for all the of the AGM\, please feel free to attend any part of it as there will be casual networking opportunities at the conclusion of the meeting and drinks and light refreshments will be served.\n  \n\n  On behalf of the Board we hope to see you there.\n\n  \n\n  Douglas Blunt\, \n  National President\n  m: 0412 211 339\n  \n\n  ATBC AGM 2018 Invitation and Proxy Form.pdf\n\n  \n\n  ATBC AGM 2018 Agenda.pdf\n  \n\n  AGM ATBC President's Report 2018.pdf\n\n
